Workforce readiness is an
essential component in bridging students to their futures. Through the
Developing Dreaming Young Minds Career Scholars Project (DDYM Career Scholars),.
MHF provides training institutes through our Mission Focus Academy during the
school year and summer for students needing career development training.
In the DDYM Career Scholars Project, students will undergo intensive training
in job- description
reading, resume/cover letter writing, electronic portfolio development,
interview skills, and interpersonal communication with special emphasis on soft
skills. Students will have digital access to a resume, cover letter,
and portfolio creator. These tools will be individualized and can be shared
digitally with prospective employers via a dedicated URL link.
